Before you buy
Can the price change?
Yes, over time. If it changes, we email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then. Every update in between is included.
What is a seat?
A seat is one named person. That person can use Laminaro on any of their PCs, for example a desktop at work and a laptop for travelling. A colleague needs a seat of their own.
Does the PC that solves need a seat?
No. A workstation that only runs the simulations for others (the solver PC) needs no seat. Only the people who set up and read studies need one.
How many runs can I do?
As many as you like. Meshing and solving happen on your PCs, so a run costs us nothing and costs you nothing.
Is the beta really free?
Yes. Laminaro 1.0 beta is free to use, with unlimited runs and no card. The full version follows in a few weeks; we'll say on this page and in the add-in when the beta ends.
Are the AI features included?
Yes, the CFD Tutor, the AI Checks and the written report are included in the subscription, with a fair-use limit per seat. In the beta they're free up to USD 3 of AI use, after a free sign-up with your email address (EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland and the US).
Who handles payment, VAT and invoices?
Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. It takes the card payment, charges the right VAT or sales tax for your country, and sends the invoice. Enter your company's VAT ID at checkout where it applies.
How do I cancel?
In your Lemon Squeezy customer portal, any time, with no call. Your seat runs to the end of the month you've paid for. After that, Laminaro opens your studies read-only: results and reports stay viewable, new runs need a subscription. See Licence help.
Can I use the results commercially?
Yes. Check them as you would any engineering result: every number comes with its ± and the references it was checked against.
Why is it this cheap?
Because you bring the computer. We don't pay for cloud servers, so we don't charge per run.
